It all began with Lucie Chouinard, promoter and manager of Le Flambard restaurant. After years of reflection and soul-searching, the same question always kept coming up: Why not put a product on the market that is produced to the exacting standards she uses in her restaurant with the special qualities her customers love so much? A product that is 100 % natural with no trans fats, no preservatives, no chemical additives, and no artificial colours. This was, after all, the formula that was gaining ground in the restaurant industry.

Lucie refined her idea and studied the market until she felt she was ready to take it to the next level. With a deep understanding of consumer trends and needs, Lucie partnered with a team of experts who, like her, are passionate about making good things great. With the same vision on health and natural foods, the idea behind Jardinéo was born: to create a wide range of products without compromising on nutritional quality and flavours.

Holding an MBA with a specialization in marketing and international development and backed with the experience she garnered as chief strategic consultant in many companies including none other than Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, she is owner of Le Flambard restaurant. With 20 years of experience in the food industry, she has an in-depth knowledge of the sector that is matched by few. Her training and vast experience have come together to create a company with incredible scope and potential. Her ambition: to manage an organisation with a stringent work ethic that is focused on culinary quality, nutritional products and the environment. Her mission: to offer a cooked, healthy product that is easy to serve.
